Project Information

Woods Hardwick were appointed by Winvic Construction to undertake the BREEAM Assessment of the distribution centre for CHEP Pallets in Bristol.
The development consists of a B1/B8 unit located within the Central Park development, which is situated to the west of the M49 motorway. The 8 acre development comprises large external pallet storage areas and a main warehouse unit with attached two storey office building. The primary function of the warehouse is the processing and repair of pallets. Car parking with designated disabled parking is provided for both staff and visitors.
Heating to the offices is afforded by an Air Source Heat Pump that serves a variable refrigerant volume system. The system offers full heat recovery with simultaneous heating and cooling to individual spaces. A 5000 litre rainwater harvesting system provides all water within the building for flushing purposes.
