Woods Hardwick is delighted to have secured detailed planning permission for 161 dwellings on land south of Arlesey Road, Stotfold, Bedfordshire on behalf of Linden Homes Chiltern and ukland.com.

In a project that has involved all of our divisions – planning, architecture, engineering and surveying – this was a tremendous team effort, and a great example of the multidisciplinary approach Woods Hardwick brings to our clients.

With only part of the site allocated we successfully made the case that the scheme is a sustainable development, with planning benefits outweighing any policy conflict relating to the unallocated land. The site sees Linden Homes Chiltern expand into a new area and will see us deliver new homes into 2022 and we look forward to starting on site.”

Overcoming landscape, ecology, surface water flooding and noise issues raised during the application, our approach and the overall application achieved the aspirations for this site, bringing forward new homes for Bedfordshire.
