5/6 Stratton Business Park

Having successfully secured the allocation of Phase 5 of Stratton Business Park in the Central Bedfordshire Site Allocations Plan, we were retained by Central Bedfordshire Council Assets and Denison Investments Ltd to coordinate an outline planning application for phases 5 and 6.

Working with our commercial architect, engineering and surveying colleagues, we secured planning permission for B1, B2 and B8 Use employment on circa 42 ha of land at Phases 5 and 6 in 2016.

We subsequently secured detailed consent for the infrastructure at Phase 5, including service road and drainage, enabling CBC Assets to sell off parcels of land to occupiers. Woods Hardwick was appointed by City Electrical Factors (CEF) to obtain reserved matters approval for a 209,600 sq ft footprint distribution unit, which has now been constructed.

We have also recently submitted an application on behalf of db symmetry for approval of reserved matters for a circa 661,000 sq ft B8 use building on the entirety of the Phase 6 land –  providing a reginal distribution hub for the Co-operative Group.
