Los Mochis, Liverpool Street

Woods Hardwick Architects are thrilled to have worked one of the leading global restauranteurs, Markus Thesleff and Los Angeles based interior designer, Olya Volkova of Ov&Co to create an outstanding restaurant experience in the heart of London.

Elevated above Broadgate Circle, Los Mochis London City provides an unparalleled experience that blends the rich flavours of Mexico and Japan, with a backdrop of breathtaking city views. This visually diverse space, comprises a vibrant main dining area with sushi bar, a scenic rooftop terrace, intimate private dining room, and luxurious agaveria bar & lounge, each offering its own distinctive ambiance.

To create this distinctive ambience within this contemporary shell, the design solution required a significant amount of technical coordination from Woods Hardwick, liaising throughout the project with a skilled design team and the main contractor 3i to ensure that the exacting brief was met throughout this space.

Woods Hardwick, in the role of Executive architect for this project were responsible for the initial building strategic appraisal, and ultimately the technical and statutory design resolution, whilst creating a canvas for Ov&Co to realise their fantastic concept design.

In that role we took on board the wider design team requirements to cultivate a cohesive and coordinated, deliverable design solution that achieves the Clients logistical requirements and the ambitious aspirations of the interior architecture.

This project was completed in Easter 2024 and has been lauded by critics for its innovative approach to both the menu and the culinary experience.
