Campbell Park

Campbell Park is the largest contemporary urban park in Europe.

The Parks Trust is a charity that manages and maintains all of the significant green spaces throughout Milton Keynes. The charity generates income through various means one of which is property development.

The site had challenging topographical constraints which required some ingenious designing to avoid the building appearing fragmented.

The site location offered a south facing front façade and elevated the building above the road level. This gave an opportunity for the building to act as a landmark feature around a key junction within Campbell Park.

Woods Hardwick worked with the client and the Council to ensure the design, a departure from the original masterplan, delivered on the expectations of excellence.
