Our charity partnership with AquAid

Our Birmingham team has partnered with AquAid Water Coolers to design, planning and construct a rather different type of structure than we are used to – the building of a water well.

This well, known as an Elephant Pump – a modified version of an age old Chinese rope pulley system – is now busy supplying up to ten thousand litres of water to more than three hundred people, every day.

To date AquAid has built over 8,000 Elephant Pumps across parts of Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, donating in excess of £16 million to charity. We are delighted to be part of this amazing charity and look forward to continue to support their efforts.
